The ideal candidate has experience providing individual, couples, group, and/or family therapy. We work collaboratively with other providers to offer research informed and relationally based treatments. The post doc would be supervised by a licensed psychologist, who specializes in providing collaborative services in psychotherapy. The fellowship is in a private practice setting and requires a twelve-month commitment from the applicant. After completing your post-doctoral fellowship, you may be offered a position of licensed psychologist at The Mendery. During your training, you will learn how to build and maintain a private-pay psychotherapy practice, receive support as you prepare for licensure as a psychologist, and develop your skills working collaboratively with the larger helping community. The position is commission-based. Various administrative and marketing tasks will be paid at an hourly rate. Incentives such as bonuses and increased commission percentages over time are opportunities available. Specific compensation will be discussed during the interview and is commensurate with other post-doctoral/early career positions in private practice.
