Dr Branaman is a psychologist practicing in areas of private forensic consulting, doctoral level education, and public service. His general clinical practice has been part of his practice group (http://ppstexas.com
) and has included assessment and treatment of general psychological disorders combined with specialized work in the areas of substance abuse and sexual behavior problems. Throughout his professional practice he has conducted many forensic assessments involving family, criminal, and civil law matters. His present practice is solely forensic services including psychological evaluations as well as being retained by attorneys. His experience includes cases in state, federal, administrative, and military courts throughout Texas and the U.S. He presently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology for the The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Branaman is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in forensic practice and has sub-licenses as Sex Offender Treatment Provider. He maintains a certificate of proficiency in the treatment of alcohol and other Psychoactive substance use Disorders. He is a Life Member of the American Psychological Association, member of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology, and Clinical Member of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
