Tim F. Branaman, PhD, ABPP
Dr Branaman is a psychologist practicing in areas of private forensic consulting, doctoral level education, and public service. His general clinical practice has been part of his practice group (http://ppstexas.com) and has included assessment and treatment of general psychological disorders combined with specialized work in the areas of substance abuse and sexual behavior problems. Throughout his professional practice he has conducted many forensic assessments involving family, criminal, and civil law matters. His present practice is solely forensic services via court-appointments and being retained by attorneys representing defendants as well as victims/plaintiffs. His experience includes cases in state, federal, administrative, and military courts throughout Texas and the U.S.
Dr. Branaman is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in forensic practice and has sub-licenses as Sex Offender Treatment Provider and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He maintains a Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders issued by the American Psychological Association College of Professional Psychology. He is a Life Member of the American Psychological Association, member of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology, and Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
